Daily ritual

In laboratory, the protagonist noticed something they should not have noticed: their shadow does not belong to them. At first it seemed like a coincidence, but with every step it became clearer that what was happening obeyed a foreign will. They tried to avoid the answer, but the splatterpunk world left no choice. When only one step remained, the protagonist understood: the truth would have to be spoken aloud, and it would change everything that had come before.
