Daily ritual

In ruined mall, the protagonist noticed something they should not have noticed: must lie to save someone's life. At first it seemed like a coincidence, but with every step it became clearer that what was happening obeyed a foreign will. They tried to avoid the answer, but the afrofuturism world left no choice. When only one step remained, the protagonist understood: the truth would have to be spoken aloud, and it would change everything that had come before.
